ABOUT JONATHON
Jonathon Langdon is an surging professional in sports broadcasting, with a portfolio that includes play-by-play work for Mount Vernon Nazarene University, Ashland University, and the OH Report. He has also contributed to production with Spectrum News 1 in Columbus and Clippers TV, the broadcasting home of the Columbus Clippers, Triple-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians.

The Ashland, Ohio native started in multimedia at Ashland High School with Arrow TV & Productions, where he became the primary host of the school’s morning announcements and contributed to the school newspaper as a senior.

While pursuing his bachelor's degree at Mount Vernon Nazarene University, he joined WNZR as a DJ and the ‘Voice of the Cougars’ for basketball while gaining experience in all production roles on WNZR.tv, the school’s streaming platform. This included time spent as a director, camera operator, and graphics specialist.

After his sophomore year, Jonathon began working with the Columbus Clippers production team, and he started broadcasting high school games with the OH Report, covering 30+ games with classmates before graduating in Communication & Digital Media in 2024.

Now a freelance sports broadcaster in central Ohio, Jonathon continues to expand his role with the OH Report, and regularly contributes to broadcasts for both MVNU and Ashland University. Eager to continue growing in the field, Jonathon is passionate about making an impact in sports media.
